How it works ?
It’s plug and play! First things first your car must have or support Apple CarPlay, it works even on after market receivers like Sony, Kenwood, JVC and more. Basically the headunit will recognize KyeBriq device as a CarPlay device. Its pretty straightforward you just have to connecting to the car in the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto designated USB port then give it a few seconds to boot up and should be good to go.
It does require an internet connection. It features a built in SIM card slot which is great but you can also use your mobile device as hotspot. Without internet connection the Android box has a limited functionality.
Built in GPS antenna. This is another cool feature, this is what makes it stand out from the competition, it doesn’t require an external GPS antenna. I took it out for a spin and I am really impressed with the responsiveness of the GPS signal. It doesn’t lag behind and works like a charm.
